Product Review & Giveaway ***ENDED***

Remember when I mentioned a cool website I had recently discovered...CSN Stores, a site that has everything from le creuset items to home decor items! I was given the opportunity to review a product they sold. I chose the Nesco 18 Qt. Electric Roaster Oven. I got it a little bit ago and have had so much fun playing with it.

Now I'm sure when you see one of these, you automatically think you would only use it once or twice a year when you roast a turkey, right? That's kind of what I was thinking. But guess what?! You can do SOOOO much more with it. You can roast, cook, bake, steam, and slow cook.

Here are some of the things I have done with it.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread. Yes you can bake bread with it!!!!! Place two loaves inside. Set the temperature dial the same as you would in a regular oven, cook as long as recipe directs, and voila! I also made Roasted Garlic Potatoes. My broiler pan fit quite nicely. Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas. A 9x13 pan rests right on the rack. Creamy Lemon Crumb Squares. Super easy, and as long as what you're cooking doesn't spill over, you don't have any clean-up.

In the summertime, I don't like to to use my oven as much because it heats up the house. Now I don't have to worry about that. I use my Nesco Roaster Oven instead. I get all the benefits of the cooked food, delicious smells filling my home, but without the added heat. Awesome!!! I can't wait to try even more....cookies, casseroles, and of course, a turkey!
