Boy Valentine's Subway Art Tutorial

First of all I have to give a HUGE thank you to each and every one of you. You guys are so sweet and I am overwhelmed by the response I got when I told you I was having a boy. I loved every single one of your comments, and it made my day more than you will ever know.

I've had a lot of requests for a tutorial on the Boy Valentine's Subway Art I did for my son's t-shirt.

I'm so glad you liked it!

I don't know if Silhouette files can be downloaded or not, but I did upload it for you guys and you can try to download it here. If it works, just go ahead and resize it for your little guy. Mine was made for a size 2T shirt.

***UPDATE: The download does work, but you need to have all the fonts installed on your computer, otherwise a default font will be used instead. See below for all the fonts used.***

You'll notice that the image is mirrored horizontally. I used Expressions Vinyl's t-shirt iron-on vinyl, which requires you cut the image that way. I used the same settings as Silhouette's Smooth Heat Transfer when cutting.

Just in case that doesn't work, here are the fonts I used so you can make this yourself!

Cutie Pie - CK Growing Up, download here
ONE, ONLY - Engravers MT
& - Eucrosia UPC
Heartbreaker - Digs My Heart, download here
ROMEO - Bauhaus 93
Love - Edwardian Script ITC
XOXO - CK Tipsy, download here
BE MINE - Adobe Caslon Pro
Mama's Boy - Impact
Casanova - Algerian

I'm pretty sure all the other fonts came on my computer. Will you guys please let me know if some don't so I can find a download link for you?

Any questions let me know!

  4. Downloading the Silhouette file works (yay), but if you don't have all of the fonts installed it chooses a default font which changes the layout so that it's not square and some of the words overlap.
Once you install the fonts and re-open it gets corrected.
    Thanks for the design!
