It seems like I am constantly learning new and incredible ways to use my Silhouette. There isn't much this fabulous machine doesn't do. I'll show you my latest use in a second, but for those who don't have a Silhouette, now through Monday, February 28th you can grab the following promotion:

Silhouette SD Machine

1 Roll of Premium Frosted Vinyl
1 Roll of Premium Transfer Paper
Home Decor CD
only $225 for everything using code “DANGCUTE"
(That's a HUGE savings! Package priced at over $400)!!!

If you already have a Silhouette, you still get a deal. 25% off all premium vinyl!!!
Again, just use code "DANGCUTE".
Go here for both deals!

My daughter's birthday is on Monday and she wants a "Rainbow" birthday party. I haven't had a chance to go to the store, or whip something up in Photoshop this week in terms of an invite. My brain got to thinking, and I remembered the Silhouette has a "print and cut" option. I haven't tried this yet, but I've seen fabulous results on other blogs so I wanted to give it a try.

I browsed through the shop and found this rainbow shape.

I added some text, then used the "print and cut" option on the Silhouette. It worked wonderfully! I was very pleased with the results. I didn't have any white cardstock, so I printed mine on white paper, then printed off other pages of just the rainbow in blue, pink, and purple cardstock and glued the invite to the colored cardstock.

Quick and easy! I seriously love this machine!

Invites: check. Now I've got to plan the rest of the party. Wish me luck!!!
