Imaginisce Blog-Hop and Giveaway **ENDED**

Recently I was introduced to a terrific company called Imaginisce.

It’s a great company that has a variety of crafting/scrapbooking tools.

One of the tools they have is the i-Rock, which lets you add some bling to your creations and projects. And Imaginisce would like to give a “Sew Dang Cute” reader an i-Rock collection package.

But I’m not the only one giving one of these packages away. I’m one of 4 blogs participating in a Blog-Hop, which means there are 3 other blogs giving away this same collection:

Let me show you the tool I was sent and got to try out.

It’s called the i-Top and you use it to cover brads or buttons with paper or fabric. Since I’m not a scrapbooker, I went the fabric-covered buttons route. Remember my chalk rolls I made to go with my kids’ Magna Chalkdoodles?

When rolled up, the elastic goes around a button. See?

It’s super simple to use and FAST! I’ve made fabric-covered buttons before with the little kits, and this is SOOO much easier!

The i-Top comes with two different sizes of heads – 22mm and 16mm. I used the 22mm buttons so that’s also the size of head I used.

 

Cut a piece of fabric a little bigger than your button. Imaginisce sells topper templates and punches if you are worried about having it exact. I just cut a rough circle out of my fabric and called it good.

Place the top of your button in the i-Top, then slide your fabric or paper on top of that.

Squeeze the handles together.

Rotate the bottom part out and place the bottom of your button in.

Rotate the lower part back upright and tuck in any fabric that might be sticking out, before squeezing the handles together once again.

You’ve just made your button!

I told you simple, right?! It’s awesome!!
