I’ve wanted a faux-painted wall for years. I even tried it once 4 years ago and that was a failure. I finally got up the courage to try it again and last night was the night.
I’ll admit that it’s probably not something I should be doing at 6-months pregnant, especially considering that directly underneath me to the left is my staircase leading downstairs.
But it’s done, and that’s all that matters to me at this point. Better pictures of the finished wall to come, I promise! Have a great weekend everybody!!

A little precarious up there, hmmmm???? Glad you were careful. Can't wait to see the wall in it's entirety!!

Wow, I did some painting when preggo, but not 10 ft in the air! You go girl, carefully of course :) Looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!!! If the doctors knew half the things I did when I was pregnant, they probably would've fainted! Of course I was careful and you know what? My kids are perfect!!! Your wall looks so cool!
ReplyDeleteWow! Aren't you the intrepid painter. No, I don't think your OB would approve, but the wall is lovely.
ReplyDeleteOh my heck, Tamarynn! You are crazy! Funny picture though :) Do you like how it turned out? I'm excited to see it!
ReplyDeleteHow convenient to have a nice resting place up there so you don't have to use a ladder the whole time! I'd say what you're doing is so much safer than balancing on a ladder! The wall looks fabulous...can't wait to see it finished!

ReplyDeleteTam you bad girl! LOL I was the same way as you though when i was pregnant. I was always doing things my doctor wouldn't approve of LOL
ReplyDeleteYou are CRAZY!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy, but it looks great! You are much braver than I ever was or will be.
ReplyDeleteyou are the coolest chick, seriously!!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like fun! Way to challenge yourself! I'm like you. The other day (at 6 months pregnant), I was helping my husband hang some sheetrock. I was standing on a ladder, holding sheetrock up against the ceiling while he screwed it in. We rock!
