Giveaway: {DownEast Basics} **ENDED**

I’m so excited about today’s giveaway! It’s from one of my very favorite stores DownEast Basics.
DownEast always has the cutest clothes. Stylish and classy,  yet simple and comfortable. Just take a look at some of their newest arrivals.
Beautiful, right? I was lucky enough to get to choose one of their newest arrivals and I went with the Pick a Posy Cardi.
I simply love the ruffles along the neckline and decided to go with the whitecap grey.

The other day I got to be a guest on the new show Get a Little Creative on My Craft Channel, hosted by Jen, Heather, and Beckie. Of course I wanted to wear the perfect outfit and this cardi was just the ticket.

  1. Oh so many cute things! I'd love the artwork top. It's the perfect do anything top. Dress it down with some capris or shorts and flip flops or dress it up with some jewelry, nice pants and heels and intstant going out outfit.

  4. I think the draped pocket skirt is fabulous! I'd wear it now with a tee & flip flops (love casual!) and later over leggings with a belted cardigan.

  8. I like really simple basics. So the Flower Trio Cardi is perfect for just about anything! Cardigans are AWESOME that way. I'd wear it to class in the fall over jeans or just out at night over a dressier ensemble.

  23. I love the Sculpture Tee. I love that it's simple enough to wear alone but it's not plain like a tee shirt, it would definitely add excitement to any outfit and could easily be worn with jeans, shorts, or skirts. Very cute.

  33. I LOVE DownEastBasics! I wear their Wonder Tee under tank tops all the time! But I love all the tops and colors in their new catalog. I think I would wear them all! I also have the Rosy Cheeks skirt in gray and it's my favorite!

    I'm loving the Flower Trio Cardi - great for a light layer in the warmer weather, or the brownstone color would look cute with a khaki corduroy skirt I have from D.E.B. a few years ago.

  87. I like the Spring Scarf Cardi. Once it gets cold, I love to pull on a cardi over t-shirts to keep warm. Then you can take it off easy when you warm up! And there are so many colors to mix and match with in this style.

  91. I love the In Bloom dress - so pretty and it looks comfy too! As far as shirts, I'm not much for layering until it gets cold. I love to be able to just throw on a shirt with jeans and have it look good. Downeast's designs are perfect for that - they have visual interest, but allow me to keep the outfit simple. I love the Side Smocked Top and think it would look great with dark jeans and some heels, or even cute flats.

  94. I really like the Side Smocked Top!!! I like how versatile it could be. I could where it with dark jeans for a somewhat casual look, or with jean shorts for a casual look or a black skit for a dressed up look. I think it would look good with almost anything you wore with it! Love it!

    My problem is that I don't always think about what something would go with in my wardrobe, so I end up with a lot of random pieces that don't fit together! This exercise of thinking beforehand how things would work with what I have is a good one! I have a skirt that would be great with the Maid of Honor top :)

  145. I love the time of my life dress, and rosy cheeks skirt. I would pair The time of my life dress with a cute caped sleeved t (modesty) ;) and some cute wedged hills and maybe a cute bohemian bracelet that's all you would need. The rosy cheeks skirt would be cute with a cream t (as to not draw attention away from the cute skirt) =) and open toed olive shoes and some jewels to tie it all together. I could go on and on love the collection =)

  178. I absolutely love the Soft & Pretty Top! The Rose Water color is so feminine, and the braided detail along the neckline goes great with the trendy hairstlyes. It is the perfect shirt to pair with my white silk skirt for church. Or I can dress it down a a little with some cute jeans and my ivory wedges. I love it!
