Joy Frame {Be Splendid}

If you want some teasers about who the 12 contestants will be (Crafting with the Stars), follow along on Facebook and Twitter. Otherwise, hang tight until midnight tonight and I’ll post the winners here on the blog.

I’ve got another Lifestyle Crafts project for you today. I received some die cuts from their new Be Splendid Christmas line, as well as the Jubilee printing plate. I wanted to make some d├ęcor with both the die cuts and printing plate, so I made this “Joy” frame.

Joy-frame

This was made with the Joy die, snowflake border die, and Jubilee printing plate.

Check out this tutorial for using the die cuts and this tutorial for using the printing plates.

I love the silver ink, so to bring out a little more silver I added a strip of silver vinyl to my red spray-painted frame.

Simple and not too over-the-top.

Some other cute die cuts that I adore from the Be Splendid line are the gingerbread house die and nutcracker die.

Don’t those look like so much fun?

You can grab those and any other Lifestyle Crafts products for 20% off with code “SEWDANGCUTE”.

  1. My maiden name is Joy, so it is prominent decor around my dad's house, as well as mine. I love this turned out... it would be a great gift to give to my dad and step mom:)
