You got to see some of my Halloween mantle yesterday in my post about the glitter pumpkins. Here’s the rest of it.
Today I want to share with you the “SPOOKY” banner.
I used the ghost and bat die cuts from the Be Spooked set by Lifestyle Crafts.
(Remember you can save 20% on all Lifestyle Crafts products with code: SEWDANGCUTE).
I cut the letters (font is Chiller) out of vinyl with my Silhouette and tied a strip of orange fabric and burlap between each shape.
See those black buildings?
They started out as regular ceramic Christmas buildings.
My friend, Jami, gave me the idea to paint them black for Halloween. I thought it was such a great idea!
Now what other Halloween decorations can I make? Maybe I’ll be ambitious and actually make my kids’ costumes this year.
Don’t hold your breath for that, though.

I LOVE this Tam! And it's pure genius to paint those buildings black- the DI is going to be wiped out of them now, I'm sure. :)

ReplyDeleteWow, your Halloween crafts are amazing! I wish we Australians had more fun with the season! I get tired of nay-sayers who say it an American Holiday :(
