Silhouette Tutorials Anyone?

Without a doubt, the #1 request I get for tutorials is for Silhouette ones.
I figured a lot of you may be getting one of these under your Christmas tree this weekend (and if you aren’t don’t worry, I *might* be able to help you out with that later next week).
So I thought it would be a good idea to dedicate a whole week to learning how to use one of these amazing machines.

Step-by step tutorials to get you comfortable using your Silhouette machine – whether it’s the CAMEO or the SD.

I’ve got a couple of things in mind already, but before I finalize the week I wanted to ask you guys if there was anything specific you would like to know how to do with the Silhouette?

Then just in case you can’t wait until Monday to start, here’s a tutorial learning how to print, cut, and design.

Merry Christmas everyone and don’t forget to leave me your request for tutorials in the comments!

  5. God Bless you child! I have one and get so frustrated with it. I want to know how to do Subway art, as in do I do all the words separately or can I do them all at once. I have so many problems with fonts. I will pick a font and then when it cuts there are all these lines that don't show up until it cuts. I also want to know how to line things up. I cut something but how do I know where it's going to cut on the paper so I don't go out of the lines or so I don't cut in the middle of the page. Also any tips for getting what you have cut off the paper, mine sticks every time!!!! Whatever you show us I am sure will be helpful! Thanks

  8. Just got one and can't wait to learn how to use it! I want to know how to do vinyl letters and monograms and how to import your own designs. Also, where is the best place to buy or order vinyl and is there a good web site to order images and/or fonts? Thank you!

  9. I'm so exicited to learn! I'm hoping that you don't use the designer studio- not ready to invest more money yet...like to learn how to use it with the regular software.
