I’ve always liked specimen art pieces, but I’ve never made one of my own. When I received the nesting clover die from Lifestyle Crafts as part of their new Spring 2012 Core Collection, I decided to finally make my own specimen art – the Lucky Clover Specimen Art.
The nesting clover die has a variety of sizes.

I chose the very smallest and cut out 49 clovers from a variety of papers. I had a 12”x12” frame, and I used a white 12”x12” piece of cardstock as the background.
It worked out that each clover is spaced 1.5” from each other, so first I marked on the paper every 1.5”.
Next I stuck a dimensional glue dot on each of my pencil markings.
Then it was as simple as placing a paper clover on each of the 49 glue dots to finish it off.
Tada!
This is just one of many dies in the Spring 2012 Core Collection! Go check out the rest and remember you can save 20% by using code SEWDANGCUTE!
