For some reason, lately I have been on a mission to find the absolute best cinnamon rolls recipe. I reached out to you guys on Facebook and many of you had the same suggestions.
Some of you also mentioned you had your own family recipes that are amazing!
(Thanks Betsy for sending it to me)
This weekend I’m going to try out one or two or all of the recipes and see which one I like best.
How about you? Want to try these out with me?
Once you make them, I would love to hear how they turned out and what you think. Come back here and tell me.
If you already have made them, let me know in the comments which one you prefer.
Or if you have your own, I would LOVE for you to share it with me!!!!
Together we will all discover the BEST cinnamon roll recipe, right?!

Our Best Bites 'everyday' recipe is sooo good! (http://www.ourbestbites.com/2010/06/everyday-cinnamon-rolls/e) I have been known to mess up pillsbury cinnamon buns (not kidding) so I'm an expert at bad cinnamon buns and that recipe is the complete opposite! LOL. My brother in law liked them so much he ate most of the pan, then went home and made them himself. He decided mine were better and it was because I have a kitchenaid mixer... and a month or two later he bought one for his wife (and him, they both bake just as often as the other) !! So clearly, a life changing recipe, ha!
ReplyDeleteahhh, take the e out of that url, I don't know what happened there
Deletei've made pioneer woman's several times and they are ALWAYS a huge hit! def try hers! :)
ReplyDeleteMy go to is the Clone of a Cinnabon. The recipe is fairly easy and the results are always great.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Yummy! I need to wipe the drool off my keyboard....ok, that is better :) I have made the Pioneer Woman cinnamon rolls (it is a ginormous batch if you follow the regular recipe) and they are sooooo good! I have been working on a GF cinnamon roll recipe for a while now (my hubby's tummy feels much better if he stays away from gluten) because he LOVES cinnamon rolls :)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness,I just salivated while reading this post (TMI?)! My go to recipe is the clone of a cinnabon that you mentioned. Are you going to post about the ones you try? I hope so. I'd love to try the Pioneer Woman ones, but they look complicated to me. I'd love to hear how it goes.
ReplyDeleteI was just curious...have you tried orange rolls? I think they are so much better than cinnamon and we have a family recipe. Let me know if you want it!!!
ReplyDeletethey all look so delicious
ReplyDeleteI have made the Pioneer Woman recipe a few times and it is very good. It does make a lot but they freeze really well. Tried the Cinnabon recipe a few weeks ago but with a different frosting because I was out of cream cheese. I think I liked those better because of the brown sugar instead of sugar in the filling.
ReplyDeleteI have halved the PW recipe before, works good.
DeleteOur Best Bites "overnight cinnamon rolls" (different than the link you posted) are the best hands down! I have no need to try another recipe. And they're super easy!
ReplyDeleteI need to find a great recipe too, so I am excited to see the results and everyone's opinion! Great post idea!
ReplyDeleteYummy I am thinking of trying orange rolls instead.

I've made Pioneer Women's cinn. rolls several times, they are sooooo good!!! You have to make those if you want the best.
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think! I make the Our Best Bites ones you posted and I love them. And I love that they are done in less than 2 hours start to finish. I think one of the keys for me is to not add too much flour, I think that was my problem with cinnamon roll recipes in the past.
ReplyDeleteI love PW's version, but it depends on what type you like. When I was in school, our district had a fabulous recipe that was super gooey but don't have a glaze or frosting. I've been trying to find a perfect recipe of that type with no luck.
ReplyDeleteI just did a cinnamon roll post!
