Weekly Digs #3

Once again it is time for the weekly digs: 5 things that I just can’t get enough of this past week.
Weekly Digs

1. TV Show: Once Upon a Time

Several of my friends have been raving about this new show. This past week I finally watched an episode and I am hooked! I love it and have been watching as many past episodes as I can to get caught up. It’s an awesome twist on the fairytales we grew up with and I love it!

I first heard this song on a Chevy Sonic commercial and now I can’t get enough of it. I used it in my spin class this last week and it was awesome to ride to!

One of my favorite things to order at a restaurant when I’m out of town is fish tacos. Of course if I’m at home, my favorite recipe to make them myself is Our Best Bites Beer Battered Fish Tacos. Delish!

4. Treat: Coconut M&M’s
I have a sweet tooth. What else can I say?
And these coconut M&M’s are so yummy. If you like Almond Joy (which I do), these are a great bite-size, less messy version. I won’t even mention how many bags we’ve already gone through at my house. Let’s just say that I love Target for carrying them!

5. Pacific Coast: Huntington Beach
Hyatt Huntington Beach
I guess one of the perks of having a husband travel for work is the frequent flier miles and hotel rewards points.
Thanks to those, I’ve been able to spend the last 4 days in Huntington Beach, CA at the hotel above – the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa. It’s been heavenly!

My husband had a work trip, so I tagged along and hung out in the hotel catching up on some much-needed R&R. Now that it’s the weekend, we’ve been able to spend some great one-on-one time together.
I’ve also been able to fit in some great beach runs. 10 miles doesn’t seem that bad when it looks like this.

So now it’s your turn. What’s made your week better? What things are you really diggin’?
I’d love to hear all about them!

  1. What a fun vacation! I LOVE Once Upon A Time - it is all my old favorite stories but told in a grown up way...and it is a bit of a mystery! Also, We Are Young is the newest song on my iPod :) Have a fun weekend!

  2. I LOVE ONCE UPON A TIME! I have done some great knitting to that show. Oh, how I love it. I love that it's mysterious and fantasy and grown up and also not people tearing at each other's clothes all the time, ha.
Another new show i'm enjoying is Grimm but it's a good deal more dark than Once Upon A Time. My hubby likes to watch that one with me.

  3. I also love Once Upon a Time! And Huntington Beach is great. I wish I'd hung out there more when we lived just a mile away :) My fave from the week was seeing Wicked for the first time last night. AH-MAZING!

  4. Agreed about Once Upon A Time - it is kinda subversive but still perfect for that old "Wonderful World of Disney" Sunday night timeslot!

  8. Tammy,

Just wanted to let you know that I've been enjoying your Weekly Digs, and your success and bravery to start this feature has finally give me the confidence to do it as well. I've been wanting to do this type of thing since I first started my blog, but wasn't sure what the feedback would be, so thanks!
