You may remember the sneak peek I gave you last week, and if you follow along with me on Facebook then you may have already heard about my big mistake (words cannot even express how much I appreciate your kind comments….THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU).

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you didn't fix your mistake. Mistakes and flaws are what make handmade items so unique. I think that quilt turned out adorable. I have a friend that is having a little boy and they are doing his room in cars. This would be the perfect fabric for his room.

ReplyDeleteI've had an experience twice now that I didn't see a mistake in my quilts until I was editing the photos and then it jumped right out at me. Both times, I went back to the quilt and couldn't readily see the mistake but it was there!

ReplyDeleteHaha... I LOVE it! This quilt will always be a favorite because it has an awesome story to go with it. When sewing through blurred eyes, things tend to get overlooked. I recently stayed up till 5:50 am to finish a quilt I had promised my son. Unfortunately I had to be at work by 7 am that morning. Oh the things we do for the ones we love. :)
