Photo a Day June: Week 1

As I mentioned last week in this post, I finished up the Photo a Day May challenge. You can see all of those posts HERE.
I enjoyed it so much, that I decided to continue the challenge in June.

From my Facebook post last week, I learned that many of you are joining in as well. It’s fun to see what everyone snaps a picture of each day, and for me to get to know many of you more.

Here are Days 1-3
Day 1 morning
Meet my alarm clock. This adorable face is what greets me every morning. It’s a great way to begin each day!
Day 2 empty
My 5- and 6-year old daughters are in charge of emptying the dishwasher. I love that they are getting old enough to do chores, and that their “help” really does is beneficial now.
Day 3 on my plate
Sunday dinners are almost always something crockpot. I like to be able to start it in the morning, then when we get home from church in the late afternoon, it’s all ready. French dip sandwiches and watermelon happened to be the meal yesterday.

There you have it. Little snippets of my life in relation to the daily topics.
So how about it? Anyone else want to play along?

  1. What a cutie pie he is!!! French dips are my FAVE sandwich!!! :)

  2. I agree that is a super sweet alarm clock you have! I just started the June photo challenge. May was great but I fizzled out halfway so I am going to really focus on this month! Pull my socks up! I am going to show my 6 year old the picture of your children unloading the dishwasher...and see if that inspires her in any way.

  3. I think the pic a day challenge is a neat idea. I love to take pictures, but I definitely wouldn't think of taking pics of some of the things on the list. Might be cool to try. :)

Where I am no longer blogging, this blog is for reading purposes only. I am afraid I just can't keep up with it anymore, therefore, I may not be able to reply to all comments. Thank you.
